Abstract

RAMIREZ ZULUAGA, Luis Antonio. Concurrence of agreements and visions in the provision of infrastructures as a form of reparation to victims and peace building in Eastern Antioquia. Rev. colomb. antropol. [online]. 2022, vol.58, n.2, pp.77-104.  Epub May 01, 2022. ISSN 0486-6525.  https://doi.org/10.22380/2539472x.2122.

Based on an ethnographic study, combined with a documentary review, it is shown that in eastern Antioquia various infrastructure works are carried out as forms of reparation to victims of the armed conflict and peace building. The article analyzes the concurrence of visions and agreements that exist around it, finding that there are two particular approaches. One in which reparation to victims and peace building through infrastructures is a means of state building, as well as a reestablishment of the economic development discourse. And the other in which the construction and maintenance of infrastructures has to do with the foundation of community life in which material and affective processes coexist.

Keywords : Colombian armed conflict; reparation to victims; infrastructures; peace building; state building.
