Abstract
BERMUDEZ-AYALA, María Alejandra and AVENDANO-ARIAS, Johan Andrés. Territorial Approaches of Afro Communities of the Colombian Pacific in the Proposal for a Multipurpose Cadastre. Soc. Econ. [online]. 2023, n.48, e10511814. Epub Apr 14, 2023. ISSN 1657-6357. https://doi.org/10.25100/sye.v0i48.11814.
Territorial analysis in Colombia addresses a series of divergences between their housing dynamics and the integration of traditional knowledge. This research tries to discuss the territorial approaches of the Afro communities of the Colombian Pacific in the current multipurpose cadastre proposal. It describes the persistence of Afro-Colombian peoples in terms of the conformation of geographical space. Subsequently, the housing dynamics of Afro communities are identified and, with all the above, the inclusion of collective territories in the multipurpose cadastre is analyzed. The research raises a series of challenges in the granting of ancestral and cultural value to the traditional dwellings of the area, an integral look at the socio-environmental conformation of the region, as well as a greater integration in a scenario of collective properties within the context of the multi-purpose cadastre, which allows the architectural, cultural and housing identity of the Colombian Pacific to be reflected.
