Abstract
SUAREZ PINEDA, Marlén and SUAREZ PINEDA, Luri. Knowledge as a factor in the associative process: an experience in forming a business networking group. Encuentros [online]. 2017, vol.15, n.2, pp.83-97. ISSN 1692-5858. https://doi.org/10.15665/re.v15i2.850.
The research put forward in the present article is framed in an interpretative paradigm with a qualitative approach, which sets about understanding the social action in a community of agricultural producers of the Boyacá region of Colombia. The purpose of the research was to follow up on the variables “knowledge of the individual and willingness to associate” and was carried out within the framework of an intervention exercise to form a business network. The research identifies that the two variables are interdependent and that the influential variable is knowledge management; it concludes that, within the community of producers, any advance in member knowledge results in a greater willingness to work together for common objectives.
