Abstract

PLASCENCIA GONZALEZ, Martín. Two categories to analyze reasoning of sociomoral rules. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2010, vol.8, n.1, pp.245-267. ISSN 1692-715X.

This article reports the results of a study based on hypothetical stories, in order to know the moral reasoning of children aged between ten and eleven, regarding sociomoral rules and its transgressions. The information collected was analyzed with the inductive method through the construction of reasoning categories. The results showed two subjective categories: one named "Regularidad" referring to those rules well known and are formal legislations and; the second category was named "Vigencia" and refers children's thoughts in which it can be identified their personal interpretation of the rule in its daily use.
