LOPEZ, Marta Isabel and SCHNITTER, Mónica. Matrix of Primary Relation in Cases of Children with Learning Disabilities. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2010, vol.8, n.2, pp.1099-1116. ISSN 1692-715X.
The relationship between learning disabilities (LD) and the primary relational context of the child who suffers it is an important aspect reported in the literature and the clinical practice, and is an essential factor in understanding the problematic of the LD. The objective of the study was to understand the history of relational development of nine children with LD in the city of Medellín, Colombia, to find meaning relationships between that history and their LD. The qualitative methodology was applied based in the phenomenological- hermeneutic. The results showed that the dynamic of the primary relationship is characterized by anxiety and constant support of the child by the mother, and a father out of the mother-child´s relationship. This dynamic is reproduced in relationships with others persons and situations, which favors the emergence of a child in a place of disability.
