Abstract

This study characterize osteomuscular disorder in 300 patients who work in operative fields in a petrochemistry industry factory, in the city of Bogotá. Methodology: This study is cross sectional clinical charts were reviewed by list. The following instruments were applied: (a) Written questions to determine the individual conditions and working conditions of this population in relation to osteomuscular disorders, and (b) an instrument to qualify the risk according to physical activity. Results: 92 workers who had osteomuscular disorders were identified Point prevalence of 30.7% of osteomuscular disorders was found, being the highest rate the process field with a percentage of 38.3%. Conclusion: It is interesting the fact that there are more alterations in the process area, even though the area which the most workers with osteomuscular disorders is the assemble area
