Augmented Reality has become an effective tool for information display in several areas as commerce, transportation, tourism and entertainment, based on the existence of a set of augmented reality frameworks for building applications, this work propose a mobile prototype based on location app on Androidplatform with OpenGL layers to visualize routes and bus stops to the users of the massive transport system in the city of Barranquilla, with the goal of facilitating the movement of the people through the city, providing truthful and effective information, resulting in a social benefit using augmented reality technology.
