Abstract

SEGURA-ORTIZ, Juan Carlos. Economic, social and financial viability of urban Projects in light of territorial development. Dimens.empres. [online]. 2015, vol.13, n.2, pp.55-74. ISSN 1692-8563.  https://doi.org/10.15665/rde.v13i2.541.

Bogotá City government wants to identify the viability of urban projects in a context in which the goods are publico non-marketable assets. An urban project would be said strongly feasible if its impact is strictly positive given it is economically, environmentally and financially feasible; It is said that the project is weakly feasible if it became viable in at least one of the three dimensions. A methodological approach that combines microsimulation techniques and impact evaluation of treatments yields quite promisorial outcomes that suggest possible contributions of this methodology in prioritizing initiatives for urban development in the light of normative requirements of physical development of territory.

Keywords : Urban Development; Impact evaluation; Non marketable good; Public Good; externatity; hedonic Prices.
