Abstract
ARBELAEZ-TORO, JUAN JOSÉ et al. Technological Intervention For Retraining And Automation Of Vacuum Single Station Thermoforming Machine. Rev.EIA.Esc.Ing.Antioq [online]. 2019, vol.16, n.32, pp.181-194. ISSN 1794-1237. https://doi.org/10.24050/reia.v16i32.1197.
This paper presents the process of restructuring and automation of a thermoforming machine vacuum single station and manual operation, based on a diagnosis in which the components, capabilities and operation of systems and its actions as a whole are identified; It is facilitated develop the redesign of mechanical and pneumatic systems and the design of thermal, electrical and control systems for manufacturing, assembly and tuning. Automated thermoformer achieved a sequential operation for work in series with controlled temperatures, higher levels of warming, decreased energy consumption and proper interaction machine-operator for adjusting variables and the characterization of the thermoforming process on each material. Updating and automation proposal for this type of machines represents an alternative technology capacity with significant potential benefit for small companies in the sector formed of plastic.
