Abstract
LONDONO, Wilhelm. Three moments of anthropological writing in colombia:: notes for a discussion. Antipod. Rev. Antropol. Arqueol. [online]. 2013, n.16, pp.181-211. ISSN 1900-5407.
In this article I want to show three stages of anthropological writing in Colombia. The first could be characterized as a narrative of the anthropological experience in terms of a journey to the "center of savagery." This period is called "anthropology of the colonial experience". The second period could be characterized as one that challenges the rules of enunciation of the anthropology of colonial experience. In this period it is possible to see that the ethnographic narrative is produced through the experience with local communities' political struggles. Finally the third stage, "beyond anthropology", is one when anthropological backgrounds are questioned and where it is difficult to establish differences between anthropology and other disciplines. These periods are described reviewing the work of representative authors. This demarcation is not a historical ontology from where samples are taken but it's a way to visualize the conceptual and political trends of anthropology in Colombia, which fluctuate between the three possibilities without a necessary temporal determination.
