BERMUDEZ-GUZMAN, Yeni Constanza; MILLAN-CRUZ, Noelba  and  CARRILLO-URREGO, Abelardo. This article presents the results of the research carried out with a group of women who survived sexual violence in the context of the Colombian armed conflict. We reflect on their life stories and analyze them emphasizing the effects that the victimizing events have had on the following dimensions: socio-affective relationships, expectations, life projects, and social and work survival strategies that they have developed regarding housing and economics. Comparing the experiences narrated by each surviving women with each of these dimensions allowed us to identify that they have carried out restoration and healing processes in a differentiated way; the latter have been a product of the solidarity they have managed to weave within the organizations they have created or have been involved with.

Keywords : Sexual Violence; Women Survivors; Social Restoration; Armed Conflict; Life Stories.
