Abstract

This study is a quantitative approach, it was carried out through descriptive analysis of a database of students benefited by the sub-sidy of the Departmental Education Fund for the Higher Learning from Cesar Department (FEDECESAR) and special programs of the Popular University of Cesar at its three campuses during the years 2006.1 - 2012.1 It was applied an economic model ofdura-tion, which managed to describe and analyze factors, impacts and inconsistencies of the different financial plans of support in the enrolling and permanence of students in undergraduate programs. Also there were determined the risks of loss of the subsidy and they were classified in groups of association.
