Abstract

This article aims to analyze the incidence of migration, the exchange rate and the forms of financing on the profits obtained by informal traders located in the cities of Maicao, Arauca and Cucuta, and answers the question of how these variables increase informality in commercial activity. Tese three selected cities represent strategic points with the Venezuelan border and have high rates of informality and unemployment.
