Abstract

NAVARRO-GARCIA, Angélica María  and  ARROYO-ORTEGA, Adriana. Affective Dimension of Sexuality: Possibilities for the Construction of Social Network with Others. Aleth. rev. desarro. hum. educ. soc. contemp. [online]. 2017, vol.9, n.2, pp.270-285. ISSN 2145-0366.

This text highlights the importance of sexuality for all people, especially the affective construction, emphasizing relationships with others, starting with the family bonding and subsequent expansion to other social circles, from their ethical possibilities and of social network that also affect the subjective reconfiguration. Likewise, it emphasizes the power of experiencing the senses, caress, touch and contact, as manifestations of security and support that allow through corporality the recognition of oneself. All of this threatened by the technological globalization which limits in many scenarios this encounter; therefore, education is recognized as a key piece to avoid the affectations of these phenomena, especially in youthful lives. For this, we will approach sexuality from the affective dimension considering three key axes: first, the question of what affection and sexuality are in everyday relationships; second, affection as a central element of subjectivity and third, the importance of contact, of the touch and the contemplation of the other.

Keywords : Affection; alterity; experience; sexuality.
