This article presents some findings on the integral protection of children as a contri bution to peacebuilding taken from a research process carried out in the municipality of Medellín in 2016. With hermeneutics as a key methodology for the analysis, three great findings were built, two of which will be reflected on this text. For this, the reader is initially introduced to the framework in which the inquiry was carried out, later the methodological issues are presented, and the findings are explained later, to con clude with the discussion regarding the exposed ideas.
