ORTIZ CASALLAS, Elsa María. Academic writing in the university context (Undergraduate). Zona prox. [online]. 2015, n.22, pp.1-16. ISSN 2145-9444.

This article describes the results found in the doctoral research entitled: Social practices and representations of university academic writing. The overall objective of the work aimed to identify and analyze the social representations that show teachers and students about academic writing and its relation to the practices of student writing. The specific objectives aimed at documenting the practices of writing developed by students in university classrooms, based on the triadic relationship: teacher-student-knowledge, and establish relationships between social representations and practices of academic writing in undergraduate students. The theoretical framework is based, first, on the theory of social representations: Moscovici, Jodelet and Abric, and second, in the theoretical and didactic principles of academic writing. The methodology presents a qualitative approach -ethnographic hermeneutic proceeding.

Keywords : practices; social representations; academic; didactic writing.
