This article presents a case identified in Cali, Colombia, in a patient receiving hemodialysis, with the purpose of establishing the risk factors for the patients affected by C. indologenes, and know more about the microbiological characteristics, the spectrum of sensitivity and resistance of this bacterium, in order to establish treatment protocols for catheter-associated bacteremia.
