CORTES PENA, Omar Fernando; PINTO SANTOS, Alba Ruth  y  ATRIO, Silvia Ines. E-portfolios as a tool for active constructionist learning in educational technology. Rev. Lasallista Investig. [online]. 2015, vol.12, n.2, pp.36-44. ISSN 1794-4449.

Introduction. E-portfolios integrate research, innovation and social appropriation of knowledge, where active learning is classified from the constructionist focus establishing a synergy with the pentagon of IT competencies (MEN, 2013, 9), from the formulation of the TICTACTEP Spiral Model of Competencies (Pinto, Cortés, Díaz, Rodríguez, Atrio & Alfaro, 2014). Objective. Develop a constructionist formation model in educative technology based on the design, the implementation and the evaluation of E-portfolios in university professors. Materials and methods. An evaluative mixed (qualitativequantitative) research work was performed, with the participation of 30 professors who attended an Educative Technology Diploma Course. They were evaluated with the competencies rubrics technique. Results. Among the main qualitative findings, the E-portfolios demonstrate an appropriation of the educative technology applied to active learning, with higher level in the use of IT and learning and knowledge technologies, but the applied domination of empowering and participation technologies is not reached. In the quantitative side, a general grade of 7.4/10 was obtained in the indicators used to evaluate E-portfolios. Those indicators have directly proportional and statistically significant correlations at 99 %, in a ratio between r: .75 and r: .95. Conclusions. The importance of E-portfolios as an interactive bridge for the exchange in collaborative learning networks can be remarked, and this impacts pedagogical practices in the construction of new scenarios of digital identity and educative innovation.
