Violence is currently a world’s public health problem affecting people of different cultural level, age, race, education, religion, as well as their work places. Its increasing activity in recent years shows figures that worries society, health professionals and particularly Nursing professionals. From an educational viewpoint, this situation makes it necessary to assume and active and competent role using educational strategies as well as pertinent teaching innovations. These requirements demand solid abilities and expert knowledge to provide effective care in accordance with the needs of those people suffering this calamity. In order to reach this goal, it is important to address the problem from an ethical point of view, focusing on human dignity and people’s integrity. Thus, this article intends to identify those ethical aspects that have been damaged in violence events and point out how important is to provide a timely and effective Nursing professional education. Thus, we may cope with the problem and prepare future professionals for them to competently participate showing a strong spirit of responsibility and commitment.
