Abstract The aim of this study is to explore the representation of the relationship that school children, who have frequent and repetitive aggressive behaviour, have with their parental figures. This is a qualitative methodology study from a clinical perspective approach that used two projective tests as tools for evaluation: the Family Test and the Patte Noire Test and a clinical interview. We found that aggressive behavior toward others may be manifestations of a psychological organization that experiences the other as a threat to their integrity; continuous sense of danger makes children misinterpret situations curbing the potential for development of social skills and self-recognition of their being.
