AGREDO SILVA, Vicente y ESTRADA, María Paulina. Employability of people with disabilities “a narrative review”: alternatives from labor inclusion. rev.ces derecho [online]. 2022, vol.13, n.1, pp.147-168. Epub 07-Jun-2022. ISSN 2145-7719. https://doi.org/10.21615/cesder.6308.
The conceptualization of employability represents a historical process that, depending on the context and needs, takes on different nuances; however, it does not involve its application to people with disabilities. This article intends to analyze the notions of employability and its related factors, as well as to present some alternatives for its application in this population, from the labor inclusion approach. For this, a narrative review of the scientific literature in Spanish and English published in the last 10 years was carried out using DeCS and MeSH descriptors, in the Pubmed, Medline, Scielo, Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The concept of employability lacks consensus, allows various interpretations and there are no descriptions applied to people with disabilities of working age in the literature reviewed. Thus, the idea of generating theoretical elements that contribute to this conceptual construction in favor of the uses that employment may have is the result.
