GODOY, Natalia; MORALES SALAZAR, Alison Dayana  y  MANCILLA, Lorena. The Eligessan experience: a route to governance in Comuna 1 Popular of Medellín. Rev. colomb. soc. [online]. 2023, vol.46, n.1, pp.169-194.  Epub 02-Mayo-2024. ISSN 0120-159X.  https://doi.org/10.15446/rcs.v46n1/101197.

This paper presents the systematization of the experience from the project "Governance and citizen participation to confront the effects of Covid-19 pandemic, from Food and Nutritional Sovereignty and Security in the Comuna 1 of Medellín". Proceeding based on the systematization of experiences, understood as a methodology that recovers the voices of the actors involved in the processes for the transformation of social practices, the purpose was to make visible learnings aimed at strengthening of community social action, from dialogue of knowledge between people of the comuna and the research team. Three axis were identified that contributed to learning. The first one addressed associativity and governance reflected in the knowledge and resource exchange networks implemented in the territory; the second refers to the potential role of the University of Antioquia as mediator among institutions and communities, contributing through training exercises to appropriation of design proposal's tools to be integrated into the public agenda; and the third focused on women's agencies for Food and Nutritional Sovereignty and Security (FNSS) as a result of visibility of women leaders as agents that execute political actions with high recognition in the area. Four significant milestones for the experience emerged from the analysis and interpretation of the process: the understanding of socioeconomic and food issues, allowing the identification of worsening food insecurity due to pandemic; the recognition and appropriation of the territory that resulted in community reconstruction of comuna's map and typification of the actors involved in FNSS; the relevance of women's leadership expressed in their role as instructors of learning activities during the project and as co-creators of social processes. Finally, joint projects construction for the intervention of territorial problems, supported by community's perspective and capacities.
