Starting from the approach of a Social History of Literature theorized by Colombian philosopher Rafael Gutiérrez Girardot, this essay explores the possibility of expose a researching program called A Social History of Philosophy that shows the process of production, circulation, distribution and consumption of Philosophy in Latin America. This historiographical proposal is taken as a branch of Sociology of Knowledge and it does not intent to substitute the main task of Philosophy: just philosophize with universal perspective
