ESPONDA CONTRERAS, Katherine. On the Responsibility in Aristotelian Ethics. Prax. filos. [online]. 2016, n.43, pp.129-154. ISSN 0120-4688.
If we consider the circumstances which define the voluntary in action, it is possible to ask: on what conditions we can say that someone is morally responsible when acting? To answer this, the article is divided into four sections: (i) to explain the conditions voluntary, involuntary and non-voluntary of human action; (ii) to deepen the triad 'wish, deliberation, choice' as part of the voluntary; (iii) to analize on what case it is possible to recognize responsibility for voluntary actions; (iv) to reflect about the importance of the agent's character in the responsibility when acting. It is possible to talk about responsibility in aristotelian theory of action, by seeing the connection we can establish between our comprehension of responsibility and what Aristotle says on actions can be praised or blamed
