This paper aims to identify the determinants of the international results of the newly established SME s or Born Global in Colombia 2011. There is analyzed the information of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Colombia related to small enterprises that manage internationalization in his first two years of life. The authors use the system methodology of structural equations, which allows generating a scheme of relations between the variables, and approaching the model trends in the explanations of the social sciences. Inside the results it was achieved a consistent model with the literature on the theory of internationalization, where determinants such as business orientation of managers, the characteristics of work environment and innovation, are highly relevant factors in obtaining international results in Born Global firms in Colombia.
