The August 15, 1972 escaped from prison of Rawson (Argentina) twenty five political prisoners belonging to different armed organizations, six escaped by plane to Chile, while the rest had to surrender at the airport in Trelew. A week later, nineteen prisoners were shot in their cells under the pretext of attempted escape. The article covers the discursive operations of Rio Negro daily, analyzing how they covered events, the way he characterized his protagonists, the antagonisms that he presented, the equivalences and displacement of meanings and enunciative scenes built.
