ZUBIRIA MUTIS, Blas Segundo. The convergences and divergences between Sociology and History. Hist. Caribe [online]. 2015, vol.10, n.27, pp.231-268. ISSN 0122-8803. https://doi.org/10.15648/hc.27.2015.8.
In this article it is made an historical journey about the convergences and divergences that have existed between Sociology and History. The necessity of a dialogue between the social sciences has been an epistemological and methodological proposal which has generated different tensions and positions in particular historical moments. Although it can be argued that those radicals positions which defended the imperialism of a science over another, have been left behind, this does not implies that the tension has quite disappeared. In the middle of the agreement for the dialogue between the scientific disciplines, it is still heard reasons and positions that point the limitations towards it.
