To identify and analyze stress factors in clinical psychologists such as positions of low financial gain; those overloaded with work, and with low autonomy and recognition; those implement-ing great physical efforts and resources; those under emotional distresses; in relationships with coworkers, patients and managers and with organizational deficiencies; and unable to adhere to public policies; government directives; and commitments in their career. 129 clinical psychologists were polled and the responses were analyzed through a thematic or categorical analysis technique, as addressed in this study. Changes in occupational stress in clinical psychologists were observed and alternatives to prevent and to reduce clinical psychologists' occupational stress are discussed.
