This article presents the results of the research: Meanings of Social Integration Process in Young Ex-offenders in the city of Cali, specifically the analysis and discussion of results from the experience offered by young people who have graduated from a custodial sentence from a reeducational center in the city of Cali. The process of social integration was characterized starting from three specific areas: support networks, academic training and work. Thus, a qualitative analysis was performed from conducting semi-structured interviews, retaking some conceptual references addressed primarily from the development of the concept of meaning and subjective meaning
