After years of internal armed conflict in Colombia, with the assumption of the word that configures forgiveness between victims and perpetrators, a new contribution for reconciliation and peace building is made. From the question, How has forgiveness been configured based on literary genres within the internal armed conflict in Colombia (1948-2016)? These pages gather findings based on the journalistic chronicle as a literary expression. For its approach, a qualitative methodological design was used, with a hermeneutical historical approach and documentary research, from which it is initially passed through a reflection on the narration of violence, then gives way to a reflexive construction of forgiveness, and finally, narratives are apprehended about him that have been recorded in the different columns of the journalistic chronicle with the purpose of understanding the configurations that he has had through this literary genre.
