LUCIANI, Leandro. Childhood social protection: subjectivity and post-rights in second modernity. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2010, vol.8, n.2, pp.885-899. ISSN 1692-715X.
In this paper, I reflect on the sense of the childhood category in the second modernity. From the point of view of rights, I analyze the interplay among the supranational legal frameworks, and those existing in the Argentine Republic, considering the possibility of creating an Integral Protection System for Rights. After analyzing the forms of subjectivity production which appeared with globalization, I propose the idea of the boy-individual or girl-individual as the prevailing significant representation. According to this evaluation, I conclude that the undeniable advance the establishment of the Childhood Rights International Doctrine provoked may, and should be, considered within the framework of the new contradictions which emerged from the current social, political, economic and cultural transformations.
