Within the past few decades in Argentina, different life paths and transitions have weighed upon the new generations, associated to a set of factors of a socio-economic and political -institutional nature, as well as the households´ social terms. In this context, I ask myself: to what extent are upbringing and socialization opportunities of childhood in each vital cycle associated to diverse types of households (monoparental, non monoparental, extended or non-extended)? Or are origin social inequalities which determine upbringing and socialization processes in childhood? The article allows us to acknowledge the influence of the type of household.in its association with the social stratification of that household. These questions will be formulated upon the information provided by the Argentine Social Debt Poll, the Argentine Social Debt Observatory, and the Argentine Catholic University (2007-2009).
