Resumen

SALAMANCA, Luisa Matilde. Construction, validity and reliability of a questionnaire in children with ADHD. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2010, vol.8, n.2, pp.1117-1129. ISSN 1692-715X.

Objective: To design, validate and determine the reliability of an instrument to evaluate the limitations and restrictions of children with ADHD. Procedure: Content validity and face validity based on experts' judgments as well as internal consistency analysis by means of Cronbach's alpha were determined. The sample included 42 parents of children with ADHD aged 5 to 10 years. Results: The Parents CLARP-TDAH Questionnaire with 7 domains and 39 items, good content validity, face validity and internal consistency calculated by means of the Cronbach's alpha of 0.74 was designed. Conclusions: The use of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health in ADHD makes the signs go beyond to other impairments and to the functioning of children. It is necessary to continue developing validation and reliability processes of this questionnaire.
