Resumen
DI LEO, Pablo Francisco y CAMAROTTI, Ana Clara. Young people's biographical narratives and individuation processes in marginalized neighborhoods of Argentina. Rev.latinoam.cienc.soc.niñez juv [online]. 2017, vol.15, n.2, pp.1021-1034. ISSN 1692-715X. https://doi.org/10.11600/1692715x.1521530082016.
The main objective of this study was to analyze the continuities and heterogeneities in individuation processes of young people from marginalized neighborhoods located in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The authors used biographical narratives as a methodological strategy for the construction of empirical evidence. Three biographical nodes were identified that have a central place in young people's lives: affective relationships; neighborhood; public institutions. However, the effects and links of these biographical nodes with young people's lives are neither direct nor linear. Complex and dynamic links between personal trajectories, intersubjective relationships and their structural conditions - socio-economic, territorial and institutional - can become either obstacles or potentialities for the development of individuation processes.
