Resumen

FERNANDES CORDEIRO, Éverton  y  VIEIRA LUCHINA, Márcia Maria Rosa. The Unconscious - from the meaning of the Significant to the Jouissance of the Letter: A Lacanian Study. Av. Psicol. Latinoam. [online]. 2017, vol.35, n.3, pp.583-600. ISSN 1794-4724.  https://doi.org/10.12804/revistas.urosario.edu.co/apl/a.4317.

The goal of this article is to discuss the theoretical trajectory of French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan in distinguishing the letter from the field of the signifier, not only from the point of view of literalness and of the localized structure of the signifier, but as an element that entails something of the pulsation of the unconscious, of the field of jouissance. Lacan proposes a conceptu alization of the unconscious as letter, going beyond the notion of the unconscious structured as language. In the 1970s, based on the notion of an ensemble of signifiers, and from the perspective of a real, "letterized" unconscious that accounts for the possibility that the letter has the dimension of language, within the pers pective of an unconscious "as letter" he pointed to the joy derived from the nonsensical nature of signifiers. Finally, the paper includes a contemporary discussion of the two registers of the unconscious: the transferen-tial and the real.

Palabras clave : Unconscious; letter; jouissance; real; psy choanalysis.
