The vertical integration in the logistical administration of Military Academy of Cadets (ESMIC): an exploratory study on the strategy of vertical integration for military institutions. Rev. Cient. This research explores the characteristics of vertical integration strategy (VI) at the José María Córdova Military Academy of Cadets (ESMIC), through a non-probabilistic used for convenience. An depth interview was applied to a sample of decision makers and inquired about the importance of vertical integration strategy, elements and benefits that allow its application to the Academy, and applications of the strategy in ESMIC were identified and in other institutions of other forces. The results show that participants generally have a positive view of the use of VI as a strategy, and that concepts such as will and leadership are relevant for its implementation.
