This paper presents a proposal for an educational digital game for teaching English as a foreign language to native Portuguese speakers. The literature review on the subject showed a general lack of a pedagogical approach to developing materials and tools designed for foreign language learning using this type of game. Complex thinking was chosen for this research's pedagogical approach to developing an RPG-type game. The game integrates a chatbot as an interlocutor, contributing to attaining English language skills and maintaining the students' motivation.
