Resumen

VELASQUEZ1, Paola  y  GOLSE, Bernard. Theoretico-clinical Assessment on Child Interconsultation Psychiatry in a Children's Hospital in Paris. rev.colomb.psiquiatr. [online]. 2009, vol.38, suppl.1, pp.140-158. ISSN 0034-7450.

Introduction: In this work, some theoretical elements in child interconsultation psychiatry are presented, as well as various intervention models for children and adolescents suffering from chronic diseases stressing the importance of a multifactorial conception of clinical findings. Method: First, “parentalisation” is addressed in relation to the concepts of sickness, death, psychic bisexuality, and mental representations. Second, a theoretico-clinical correlation based on the history of a baby and of a preadolescent was carried out. Results: Intervention is possible using psychoanalytic and development models that allow considering the mental representations of the parents, and the medical and paramedical caregiving team, the inter-subjective work, and the possible links between both, so as to enable the creation of a third, comprehensive and flexible, in situations as mobilizing as chronic disease or risk of death. Conclusion: Chronic disease requires a permanent work in order to reconsider the way and the time to intervene. The intervention models mentioned in this document must be flexible and with capacity to respond to different unforeseen events
