This article seeks to reflect on the "Marketing of nostalgia" by presenting a theoretical reference on key concepts that underlies this marketing strategy. This is the result of a comprehensive literature review on different sources of information such as bibliographic databases, journals and electronic books, institutional repositories and blogs.
A marketing of nostalgia is proposed, aimed at promoting the services and products of the Photographic Archive of this Public Library, which makes the development of its collections an approach of heritage, conservation and preservation.
In sum, the marketing of nostalgia is appropriate to spread the products and services of this type of information units because the photographs are elements of great importance in the lives of people; in these moments and meaningful moments are reflected the existence that can bring out feelings of nostalgia.
