The work reflects on the current quality requirements and dissemination forms for work by historians and scholars in the social sciences in Colombia, Latin America and other regions. Access and dialogue with a wider community of researchers lead to considerations on the circulation and use of what is produced and disseminated, to determine whether the research should be published as a book, magazine, or both, and whether this should be printed or digitalized. The authors analyze the difficulties faced by social scientists to reconcile traditional media with new circulation formats and uses of knowledge.
