Resumen

RAMOS, Lina Maria; SANCHES, Adhemar; COTES, Josá Miguel  y  CARGNELUTTI FILHO, Alberto. Adaptability and stability of yield rice genotypes, using two assessment methodologies in Colombia. Acta Agron. [online]. 2011, vol.60, n.1, pp.39-49. ISSN 0120-2812.

The objective of this research was to evaluate the adaptability and phenotypic stability of 12 genotypes of rice with and without irrigation, to select genotypes with wide or specific adaptations. To evaluate adaptability the variable grain yield was used. Eight experiments in the Departments of Meta, Tolima and Huila located in the region east of Colombia, during the years of 2005 and 2006, were carried out. A complete randomized block design, with four replications, was used. For adaptability and stability evaluations, the methods of Eberhart and Russell and Annicchiarico were used. The variance analysis showed a genotype x environment interaction. The two methodologies presented similar results. The genotype 400094 was considered adaptable and steady, in both methodologies. This genotype could be recommended for cropping under the two agronomical evaluated crop conditions.

Palabras clave : Annicchiarico; Eberhart and Russell; genotype-environment interaction; rice.
