Financial Education is a topic that has become highly relevant nowadays, because of the large fact that it allows people to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to make the right financial decisions, in addition, it generates an analytical ability to select products and services available in the market. This article aims to cover the topic of Financial Education in young people through a literature review, identifying authors, publications, journals, countries, and organizations that contribute the most to the field. For this, searches were conducted in the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases. In addition, using bibliometric tools such as R and Bibliometrix, a bibliometric analysis, a network analysis, and finally, identification of research perspectives related to the topic were identified. Among the most relevant findings, it was evident that the United States leads the actual research, accumulating 45 % of the publication's production in the area, and positioning itself as a world reference in terms of journals, authors, and organizations that contribute the most to the research field.
