The implementation in Simulink of an induction motor model to study inter-turn short circuits on the stator winding is presented in this paper. The theoretical results are presented. The main parameters of the motor are determined and the experimental results in a 2 Hp induction motors which have been prepared to make for inter-turn short circuits are described.
