Resumen
REYES NEGRETE, Jorge. Etiology of human rights. Theoretical bases for a pluri-moral and intercultural foundation. Prolegómenos [online]. 2023, vol.26, n.51, pp.87-102. Epub 17-Oct-2023. ISSN 0121-182X. https://doi.org/10.18359/prole.5031.
Human rights, being an intentionality of human subjectivity, exponentially pluralize their content and understanding. This is because human subjectivity manifests itself materially in human subjectivities; that is, phenomenally, there is no mere human subjectivity since this would imply thinking that there is a cultural, moral, theological, rational, and social homogeneity. In this dynamic, to speak of human rights as a product of human subjectivities would represent a biased viewpoint limited to Western understanding. It is for this reason that, from an inclusive logic, to speak of human rights involves, imperatively, speaking also of their equivalences. It is in this context that this article represents a reflective and critical effort around the etiology of human rights, which is approached from edges beyond the Westernized ones; therefore, this work represents an intellectual daring that raises some theoretical bases tending to contribute to the thoughtful plural debate on rights and their causes.
