Resumen

GARRIDO GALINDO, Angélica Patricia  y  CAMARGO CAICEDO, Yiniva. Temporary Space Distribution of Total Suspended Particles in the Department of Magdalena Coastline, During the 2006 - 2009 Period. rev. cienc. [online]. 2014, vol.18, n.1, pp.59-72. ISSN 0121-1935.

This is a quantitative and descriptive study. Its aim is to determine the spatial and temporal distribution of total suspended particles (TSP) in the Magdalena's coastal zone, through the analysis concentrations of TSP in eight monitoring stations belonging to the CORPAMAG air quality network, during the years 2006-2009. The study showed that in the fi rst half of 2007 the concentration of TSP presented the highest monthly geometric mean at stations Airport and CAJAMAG, with concentrations of 220.67 µg/m3 and 150 µg/m3 respectively. The TSP's yearly limit (98,22 µg/m3) was exceeded in the years 2006 and 2007 for CAJAMAG and airport station. The spatial graphics with Golden Surfer 9.0 showed that the mainly affected areas with high TSP's concentrations in 2006-2009 were communes 3, 4 and 8, located near the INVEMAR, CAJAMAG and the airport monitoring station
