Data analysis was made using Microsoft Excel® 2010 spreadsheet. Indices AVPP 83.1/1.000. Conclusions. First cause of mortality due to fatal injuries was related to traffic accidents, a different picture from that of the whole nation, where homicides are the first issue. It is necessary to join efforts from all socio-economic sectors to decrease children's mortality.
