The point of this study was to know first-hand the expectations and perceptions of the quality of the service provided by the Dental área of CESFAM Violeta Parra of Chillán. This cross-sectional study used the SERVQUAL poll to know the expectations and perceptions of service attending gender, age, health insurance system, educational level and activity of all patients in dental care. As results, the perceptions did not exceed in any dimensión the expectations; men got higher expectations than women and, as the age increased, so did the perception of the service quality.
