The study of spatial processes associated with the construction of road infrastructure of the dual highway Briceño - Tunja - Sogamoso BTS, in the municipalities of Tunja, Cómbita and Oicata in Colombia is addressed. Through photo-interpretation of images from Spot 2005 and Google Map Tiff 2012, applying the reading of the national legend of land cover, using the Corine Land Cover (CLC) methodology, adapted for Colombia 1: 100,000 (Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, 2010). Different nonlinear spatiotemporal processes were observed that obey the incidence of road infrastructure in locating new discontinued urban fabric, farm fragmentation and change of coverage in their area of i nfluence. The result is a spatiotemporal analysis 2005-2012, combined with the estimate of property developments, which is suitable for assessing the impact on the area of influence, as evidenced by transitional changes in land use.
