The research objective is to identify differences in perceptions about organizational transparency from the perspective of the employee depending on the sector, size and coverage to which the company belongs. T-tests were performed in a group of companies in Mexico to measure the significant differences between the various groups of companies, finding that the company's private sector and export profile tends to integrate in a more determined manner transparent practices that other companies or institutions. It is proposed that a citizen employee must be a key element within public and private organizations to increase organizational transparency.
