The National Police of Colombia, since 2015, has bet on a transformation in the targeted police service, to fulfill its mission of security and coexistence, through a proposal of the police as a mediator and give an opportunity to conflict resolution From the dialogue, the above is specified in Law 1801 and the police media, where the role of the police mediator is highlighted; From this perspective, it is proposed to strengthen the police service through the recognition, value, training, strategy and implementation of mediation spaces with the rural communities of Colombia, product of an identification and analysis of the results achieved in the urban communities where it is reflected not only acceptance but better levels of coexistence, product of the dialogue and tolerance that mediation offers. Delivering as a product of the investigation a virtual guide for the police leaders of the rural sector in Tolima.
